The flowers are finally blooming outside and I’m trying to be honest with myself about what this month actually looks like.

It’s not slow. It’s not pretty. It’s ball games and field trips and end-of-school chaos and a calendar that’s somehow already full.

So here’s what I’m carrying in: simpler dinners, lower expectations, and doing small things to make life feel special even in the chaos.

We celebrated Easter with some of our favorite people and had such a wonderful time together 🤍

I love a good theme and just couldn’t stop myself once I went down the vegetable path for my table this year 🥬 🥕🫛

The menu was ham, 7 layer salad, scalloped potatoes, and a carrot cake that our kids decorated and it turned out so cute!
