Whether it was around the dinner table, through shared stories, or moments of quiet reflection, 2024 reminded me of what truly matters: family, friends, and the simple beauty of showing up with love and intention.

This recipe is the perfect last-minute solution: quick, easy, and absolutely delicious. Made with buttery croissants, creamy goat cheese, savory ham, and a rich egg mixture, it’s festive enough for the holiday but simple enough to whip up in no time.

You can even customize it with whatever cheese or meat you have on hand, making it a great way to use what’s already in your fridge. While it bakes, you’ll have just enough time to sip your coffee and soak in the Christmas morning magic.

Recipe: Croissant Breakfast Bake 🥐

Ingredients

• 5 bakery croissants, halved
• 4 oz goat cheese, softened
• 5 slices provolone cheese
• 1/4 lb deli ham
• 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 6 eggs
• 3 tbsp milk
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp ground mustard
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp melted butter

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Arrange the bottom halves of the croissants in the dish. Spread each with goat cheese, then layer with provolone slices and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar.
3. Bake for 5–7 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
4. Meanwhile, whisk together the eggs, milk, onion powder, ground mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
5. Layer the ham on top of the melted cheese croissants, then cover with the croissant tops.
6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, then brush the tops with melted butter.
7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tops are golden.
