Ferris Bueller was wise beyond his years. Ok, maybe he was just an irresponsible teenager who was an expert manipulator, but the part about taking time to slow down and enjoy life, he was really on to something. Life does move fast and that fact is especially true during the holidays. Parties, gifts, decorating, hosting, cleaning, to-do lists… we all take on so much to make sure that the holidays are everything we imagine them to be only to look up on January 2nd and realize that it all went by in a blur.
