Tips for sending your best this holiday season

One of our favorite parts of the holiday season is sending and receiving holiday cards. Most of the time opening the mailbox is not exciting but this is the time of the year that we look forward to it. Seeing the smiling faces of friends and family or a special handwritten note brings a smile to our faces and warms our hearts.
Sending your own holiday cards is a great way to let people know that you’re thinking of them during the holidays. Here are a few reminders and things to consider as you get ready to send warm wishes to others this year.

Timing
Get your cards in the mail early. This gives the recipient time to enjoy the card you put so much time and effort into creating and sending. Aim to mail your cards out by December 10th to ensure they arrive with time to spare.
Return Address
Always include your return address. This makes it easier for someone to send you a return card should they not have your address on hand.
Who
Send holiday cards to anyone you would like to send your best wishes to! And don’t feel obligated to send cards to people if you have grown apart or no longer wish to. There really are no rules on who, although it is a nice gesture to send your best to anyone whose day you would like to brighten.
Listing Family Names
This is something that so many people get wrong! There are some basic etiquette and grammatical rules to follow when creating the signature (printed or written) for your card and addressing your cards to other families.
